Legal
Terms of use
These terms govern the use of Href, including short links, public profiles, account access, and all related functionality made available through the platform.
Use of the service
You may use Href to create short links and public profile pages for lawful personal or business purposes. You must not use the platform for spam, phishing, malware, fraud, unlawful content, harassment, impersonation, or any activity that harms other users or third parties.
Accounts and access
Registered users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activity performed through their account. Admins and members may have different permissions. Accounts may be suspended, restricted, or removed where these terms are violated or where operational, legal, or security risks arise.
Links and profiles
You are responsible for the content and destinations of every short link, social link, button, and public profile you publish. You must have the right to share the linked content and any uploaded assets. Deactivated profiles are not publicly reachable until reactivated.
Prohibited use
The service must not be used for unlawful content, malware, phishing, spam, fraud, impersonation, deceptive redirects, copyright infringement, harassment, or any attempt to misuse the platform infrastructure.
Retention and removal
Links may expire in accordance with the settings selected at creation. Guest links and user links may also be removed after configured inactivity periods. Member accounts that remain inactive for 5 years may be deleted together with their associated links. Reminder emails may be sent before deletion where an email address is available.
Availability
We aim to keep the platform available and functional, but uninterrupted availability, permanent storage, and error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Features may be changed, limited, or discontinued at any time.
Enforcement
Links, profiles, or accounts may be removed where they violate these terms, trigger abuse complaints, or create technical, legal, or reputational risks for the platform or its users.
Liability
Users remain responsible for the destinations and content they publish through Href. To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability for interruptions, temporary unavailability, or data loss is limited to cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, to the extent legally permissible.
